Meet the Owner

Tyson Mendes is the Founder and Creative Director of Pearl Blonde, bringing over 20 years of international experience to the art and science of hair colour.

After training at Vidal Sassoon in London, Tyson built his career across Australia, the United Kingdom and Scandinavia, working alongside some of the industry's leading colourists. Before relocating to Amsterdam, he owned and operated a successful salon in Melbourne, Australia, earning a reputation for exceptional blonding, honest consultations and beautiful, healthy hair.

Tyson has worked backstage at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, has been featured in Coiffure Magazine on multiple occasions, and his work has appeared in publications including Harper's Bazaar, Cream and Pinni Lehti. He proudly represents Wella Professionals as an Ambassador for Northern Europe.

His philosophy is simple:
